Step 3 — Install cli_debrid¶
Select your platform below. All methods install the same app — only the steps differ.
The easiest method on Unraid is via Community Applications using the pre-configured template.

Run cli_debrid in an LXC container or a VM with Docker.
Full guide: Proxmox installation
Recommended approach: Use a Debian/Ubuntu LXC, install Docker inside it, then follow the Docker steps.
Run cli_debrid as a TrueNAS App (SCALE) or in a jail (CORE).
Full guide: TrueNAS installation
TrueNAS SCALE: Use the Docker Compose method inside a Custom App or deploy via TrueCharts if available.
A native Windows executable is available — no Docker required.

Symlinks on Windows
Windows requires Developer Mode enabled for symlink support. Plex does not support symlinks on Windows — use Jellyfin instead, or run cli_debrid in Docker.
First launch¶
